Instruments with several historical series appear only once here; the Datafeed page provides details of each series, its resolutions and start dates.

Choosing an asset for your backtest

Select the market you trade and the corresponding instrument in the Backtester. An index CFD and its futures contract have different specifications and trading sessions: NAS100, NQ and MNQ are not interchangeable. Use the correct symbol and set costs and risk to match the strategy you want to test.

Checking historical coverage and resolutions

The Datafeed page shows the coverage of each series. Check the period before starting a test: historical availability varies between instruments. Futures are included in Ultra; see the plan comparison for other features.
