FTMO: export a CSV from MetriX and import it into the Journal

Export a CSV from the FTMO MetriX Trading Journal and select FTMO in the TotalTrade Journal file import.

Export the file from FTMO

1. Sign in to the FTMO Client Area and open Accounts Overview in the left-hand menu.
2. Open MetriX for the account you want to export.
3. Go to Trading Journal and select Export on the right.
4. Download and keep the CSV.

Import the file into the Journal

1. Open the Journal, go to Storici (track records) and select Crea un nuovo storico (create a new track record). If you already have a manual track record, open it for editing and go to step 3.
2. Set Nome (name), Saldo Iniziale (initial balance) and Valuta (currency). Choose a Tags Template if you want to use one. Leave Connetti Account in Tempo Reale (connect a live account) off and select Crea Storico (create track record).
3. Open the track record for editing. Under Modifica lo storico (edit track record), select Importa da file (import from file) and choose FTMO.
4. Drag the exported file into the upload area or select Seleziona file (select file). The same panel contains the provider’s written instructions and video.

If the account uses MetaTrader 5

The FTMO option in file import is for the MetriX CSV. To connect an eligible MT5 account, use the MetaTrader 5 guide and check your FTMO account’s conditions before connecting it.
